Learn to skate and play roller derby on Friday evenings from 6pm-7pm, as scheduled.

$20 suggested donation per skater, which includes sticking around for Open Skate from 7pm-9pm. We offer 5-lesson punch cards for $90.

Brat Lab for our 26-27 season begins on Friday, October 9.

Girls and gender expansive kids ages 7-17 are welcome. Full gear, including mouth guards, is required. Click here to see what full gear means. Limited loaner gear is available, including skates, helmets, and pads. We sell mouth guards onsite for $10, and we recommend buying a SISU mouthguard using our discount code: TSDerbyBrats.

What to Expect:

• Adult roller derby coaches and experienced SDB skaters will help with roller skating skills, derby skills, and general skating advice.

• Skaters can stick around for Open Skate from 7pm-9pm following Brat Lab. Full gear is not required for Open Skate. Open Skate is not coached or guided, but it’s a good time to practice what you learned in Brat Lab

• We welcome skaters to join our league mid-season, and Brat Lab is a great way to begin your roller derby journey

• If you are new to skating, it might take up to 5 lessons to be ready to join SDB. Coaches assess and invite skaters to join SDB on a case-by-case basis. Assessments take place during Sunday practice times and must be arranged in advance.

• If you are transferring from another league, Brat Lab lessons are not required. please reach out to info@seattlederbybrats.com to schedule an assessment during a Sunday practice time for the division most suitable to your age and skill.
