We are excited to have you join us for an amazing season! The season begins with practices on Sunday, September 13 (Galaxy practices begin Sunday, October 18).

Cost:  

  • Tootsy Rollers: $775

  • Division 1: $995

  • Division 2: $1,215

  • Ultra Violets: $1,440

  • Galaxy: $1,660

Your registration includes: 

  • Weekly practices (varying from 2 hours to 3.5 or more hours depending on the division) run by awesome and experienced coaches at our very own roller derby facility 

  • 2 game-day jerseys (must be registered by September 24th; after that jerseys may be purchased by families)

  • 4-6 games plus many officiated scrimmages (more for the travel teams)

  • Professional skater/team photos (one complimentary photo item included; additional purchases available)

  • Team bonding and other special activities and events

The registration fee does not include:

  • Skating gear (you can find out more about the required gear here). We encourage you to visit our friends at Get Your Bearings Skate Shop.

  • Practice/Scrimmage shirt (each skater needs one white and one black shirt)

  • Travel (if on a travel team - airfare, hotel, car rental, etc.)

This league is run exclusively by volunteers. In addition to participating in our annual fundraising activities, we ask that skaters and their adults volunteer to keep the derby going. There are lots of ways to contribute and you will find out more at the family meeting (held during the first practice).

Practice Schedule:

  • Tootsy Rollers: Sundays, 2pm-4pm

  • Division 1: Sundays, 12:30pm-2:30pm and Wednesdays, 5:30-7pm (Wednesdays may be alternating between Division 1 teams, TBD)

  • Division 2: Sundays, 11am-1pm and Thursdays, 5:30pm-7pm

  • Ultra Violets: Sundays, 9:30am-11:30am and Tuesdays, 5:30pm-7:30pm

  • Galaxy: Sundays, 8am-10am; Tuesdays, 5:30pm-7:30pm; and Saturdays 8am-10am (Practices begin Sunday, October 18)

Refunds:

We understand that plans can change. Refunds for season registration will be issued according to the following schedule, based on the date the refund request is received:

  • Request Received on or before September 23: Full refund, minus a $100 administrative fee

  • September 24 – October 31: 50% refund

  • November 1 – December 31: 25% refund

  • After December 31: No refunds given

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the SDB Secretary.
