Big News for the Season Ahead: Team Restructuring
We’re entering a new chapter this season, and we want to share an important update: our Division 1 teams will be merged into larger rosters to support a more balanced, competitive experience for all skaters.
We know this is big news—and for many, it may feel like a loss. Skaters have built strong bonds with their teammates, and the idea of saying goodbye to a familiar team name or lineup can be tough. That’s why we’re doing everything we can to keep teammates together as we form the new teams. Preserving those connections is a top priority.
Here’s what this change means:
No more mashups: Teams will be large enough to play full bouts against each other, which means more consistent gameplay and fewer last-minute roster scrambles.
Predictable bout schedules: Slam events will run more smoothly, with clearer timelines for skaters and families.
More officials available: Scrimmages will be easier to organize and better supported.
We understand this news may bring up strong emotions. That’s okay. Let’s hold space for those feelings and support each other as we move forward. Change is never easy, but together, we can make this season one to remember.
