For Additional ease in communication and team chats, we use Slack - an app or browser based chat tool.

After registration is complete you will be added to a private channel for your division and you will also see the "#general” chat. Once rosters are set, you will also be added to the channel for your team “#TeamName”.

The #general chat will be locked down. Only league-wide announcements will be posted on this channel by board members.

In your Division and team chats, you can communicate freely as works best for your group. Board Members, Coaches, and Team Parents will also use these channels to post announcements that are specific to that group.

You can Direct Message any board members as you need to, although some board members are more or less available on a personal basis. If you do not receive a response from a board member you can also email info@seattlederbybrats.com for a response. Board Members are human, and are not requested to respond for 48 hours.

We will remove content that is inappropriate, unkind, or organizational information that is false (wrong times/dates/rules, etc.). If a user is not able to use Slack in a way to appropriately communicate with others, we reserve the right to remove users at our own discretion. If users have any issues with how we moderate these channels, they can communicate with Technical Director DIR.T Maureen (technology@seattlederbybrats.com) who will liase with the board on moderation issues.
